This service is perfect for those that have a vacant home that requires a full furniture and decor fitout. Our home styling will grab the attention of scrollers, and draw them to your open inspections.

DIY Stylist

This service is perfect for those that have a full home of furniture and accessories, yet need a professional to assist them with advice on decluttering and making the space more inviting.

This service includes:

  • Up to 90 minutes in-home consultation and property walk through
  • Tagging of items to be stored away to assist with decluttering
  • A follow up email including room by room breakdown, with advice on action to be taken
  • Styling Cheat Sheet to assist you to style like the professionals

The FAQs

2-3 weeks is ideal. We need enough time for a property walk through and to get through the quoting process. The nature of staging to sell is fast paced, so if you have less time than 2-3 weeks, we will try to work in with your deadline, however available furniture may be limited with less notice.

Usually we will start with a 4 or 6 week rental period. From there the rental can be extended week by week until the property sells, or you wish to have the furniture removed. 

Tone & Texture Interior Design have an inventory of high end Furniture, Art and Accessories. At times we will also use third party furniture rental providers, should this be required to gain the desired aesthetic. The provider may change from project to project depending on the style of the home. This allows a wide range of styles to be achieved. 

You can book a free property walk through via the link above (Book a Property Walk through). After the walk through, I will be able to provide you with a custom quote for the staging. Each quote is tailored to the home, meaning you are only paying for each piece of furniture you need to hire.

We suggest you hire a storage unit to enable us to furnish and decorate the home to its full potential. Otherwise, if this is not an option, our DIY Decorator consultation can assist you in enhancing the furniture you already have.

You can absolutely live in the home. You will need to treat the furniture as a display only though. Which means you may need to make some adjustments during the sale period. For example, top bedding to be removed completely and preferably laid flat, then use your own bedding. Put the bedding back on prior to inspection. A tip here is to take photos of the rooms once it has been styled, and replicate these looks before each inspection. It is much easier if you have somewhere else to go during the sale period, however this is not always possible.
