Lighting is the jewellery of the home, and it should be treated as such. Layered lighting will enhance the ambience of your space.
A lick of paint is the easiest way to transform the look of your space. We can assist with creating the correct colour palette for Interior and Exteriors.

clarity call
Starting with an obligation free clarity call, we will uncover the major factors of your project. We can then identify if we can assist, or simply point you in the right direction. If you prefer written communication, please send an email with your project details to get started.

on-site consultation
Meeting on-site, we will dive deep into the details of your project for up to 90 minutes. The consultation is key in determining the specifics of the work involved. A full scope of works and fee proposal for your project will be sent within one week post our meeting.

presentation
Once the designs are complete, I will present these to you, usually within four weeks of commencement. Any changes will be updated based on your feedback. You will have all the information ready for your trades or to execute the designs, should you wish to handle the purchasing stage yourself.

purchasing & installation
If you wish for a full white glove service for your decoration project, we will also attend to the following; all online and in-store purchasing, coordinating deliveries, handling returns for damaged and incorrect items, unpacking and inspecting items, installing and styling items in your space. We can also coordinate trades such as framing of artworks, art installation, wallpaper hanging and electricians.
Interior Design refers to the function and structural element of spaces. Therefore, anything that requires the removal, addition, or movement of walls or fixtures can be seen as Interior Design services. This includes spatial planning for new floorplan layouts, Kitchen and Bathroom Designs and selection of fixed materials such as flooring, joinery finishes, tapware etc.
Interior Decoration refers to the furnishing of the existing space. This can be achieved through lighting, furniture, wallcoverings, window treatments, paint colours, soft furnishings and accessories.
There are many benefits of engaging a qualified Interior Designer such as Tone & Texture Interior Design. These include, formal training and qualifications meaning knowledge and experience in designing and decorating, knowledge of the building code compliance, industry knowledge and access to trade only suppliers (where you can save money on furniture) and ergonomics to ensure your design is not only beautiful, but also functional.
The earlier the better. If you are renovating and you have an architect that has prepared the floorplan and you have commenced construction already, it might be too late to make changes, or there may be costly to change. An interior designer will run over all the plans to ensure everything has been thought of. An interior designer will understand how you run your household, or workplace and will question the design to enable the best possible outcome. For commercial clients, an interior designer can help you find the correct space for your business.
As mentioned above, there are a lot of variables that make up the design fees. There is no flat fee, as each project is so different. Initial consults are $275. From there a proposal and quote is provided, to ensure you are only paying for what you need, and nothing more.
While our design studio is based in Brisbane, we service the Sunshine Coast down to the Gold Coast. We have worked with clients in all states of Australia remotely, and even with a client in the Napa Valley, US.
